About the Role
We are seeking a Project Controlling Manager who will take responsibility for financial management, forecasting, and budgeting for client projects. In this role, you act as the central interface between project teams, account management, and clients on all finance- and capacity-related topics. You also support the establishment of customer relationships while expanding cooperation and ensuring projects remain financially healthy from initial estimation to project closure.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate client-facing and internal budget, profitability, and forecast reports
Facilitate and resolve budget usage and profitability issues in collaboration with Project Leads and Account Managers
Serve as the main contact for finance, budget, and capacity planning topics, and handle billing processes
Book project teams and monitor their impact on budgets and profitability
Own client communication and lead proposal negotiations
Support upselling and project extensions in cooperation with Project Leads and Account Managers
Create and manage new offers, ensuring alignment of scope, timing, effort, and budget
Manage freelancers, project expenses, and operational tool access
What You Bring
Experience in project controlling, financial steering, or project management
Knowledge of estimation, scoping, and offer creation
Confidence with budgets, forecasts, profitability, and capacity planning
Comfortable discussing financials and commercial topics with clients
Strong collaboration skills with delivery teams and client-facing stakeholders
Structured, detail-oriented, and pragmatic communication style
You enjoy working with numbers and value accuracy without losing flexibility
Fluent knowledge of Croatian and English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
Fluent in German
Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and project management tools like Productive (or other similar platforms)
